Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team. In this role, you will provide evidence-based therapeutic services, supervise and train junior staff, and contribute to our ongoing commitment to professional excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Clinical Care:

  • Provide 24 professional service units weekly, including individual, family, couples, parenting, and group therapy sessions.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices like CBT and DBT.
  • Diagnose mental health conditions, conduct assessments, and track client progress.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care.
  • Attend clinical team meetings, seminars, and educational sessions.

Supervision and Training:

  • Supervise graduate externs, interns, post-docs, or junior staff, providing at least one hour of supervision weekly.
  • Engage in training activities, such as conducting workshops or facilitating educational sessions.
  • Attend monthly supervisor meetings and contribute to training program development.

Professional Development:

  • Participate in ongoing training opportunities and earn continuing education credits.
  • Provide consultation services to schools, organizations, and corporations.
  • Take on leadership roles based on interest and expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology with a minimum of 5 years of clinical practice in CBT and DBT.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Competency in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological disorders.
  • NY State license in good standing.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Competency in DBT with formal training and supervised clinical experience.
  • Experience working with a diverse range of ages and disorders.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage treatment plans and documentation.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods.
